# Colour source and production roles Intent: colour follows recorded life events; choices remain readable in every state. Relationship: luminous warm/green chords for gains; indigo, violet, slate and earth chords for setbacks; quieter cool/warm chords for ordinary intervals. Chord: thirty documented three-colour combinations, named in palette-chords.js. Roles: darkest member carries text; lightest carries reading surfaces; third marks atmosphere and action. Dark instruments invert text onto the same darkest member. World materials derive from the whole chord; sad scenes lower material lightness. Budget: reading and world carriers dominate; action colour is sparse. Risks: harmony does not guarantee contrast, especially on small labels or dark bars. Proof: test actual text/background role pairs, complete scenario coverage, recorded sequence changes, old saved pin ignored, real browser scene/console/settings changes. Combinations and digital conversions copied from local Palette/data/colors.json, which credits mattdesl/dictionary-of-colour-combinations and dblodorn/sanzo-wada. These are documented digital combinations, not exact printed colours. Mood assignments and material mixes are Life2.0 art direction, not claims by Sanzo Wada. # Third-party notices ## Sanzo Wada colour data `data/colors.json` comes from [`mattdesl/dictionary-of-colour-combinations`](https://github.com/mattdesl/dictionary-of-colour-combinations). That project corrected and repackaged data first compiled by Dain M. Blodorn Kim for [`dblodorn/sanzo-wada`](https://github.com/dblodorn/sanzo-wada). Book copyrights remain with their owners. No supplied book files, scans or substantial excerpts are redistributed. Repository studies: pbakaus/impeccable (Apache-2.0), nextlevelbuilder/ui-ux-pro-max-skill, leonxlnx/taste-skill, nutlope/hallmark and funboy322/avoid-ai-design (MIT). This release contains original procedural writing, not vendored packs or upstream code. Exact snapshot commits, coverage, adaptations and limits are in `skills/bauhaus-human-design/references/reading-ledger.md` and `DESIGN-FIELD-GUIDE.md`. No endorsement is implied. MIT covers our original work; it does not relicense the books or upstream projects. ## Editorial method — 2026-10-12 `EDITORIAL.md`, `EDITORIAL.zh-CN.md`, and `EDITORIAL.th.md` are original writing. They adapt two MIT sources and do not vendor those repositories. - Peter Yang, no-ai-slop, commit `000650b156983f5159695b441477f4e63b25dc85`, . Copyright (c) 2026 Peter Yang. Taken: quote the sentence, say why it fails the reader, propose the smallest change, and do not score the draft. Not taken: the outright word ban. - Jakub Krehel, make-interfaces-feel-better, commit `35545ea1512ad59fa463e6b1f95ca9c052981fe6`, . Copyright (c) 2026 Jakub Krehel. Taken: labels, optical alignment, visible focus, and a 44 × 44 CSS pixel hit area. Not taken: concentric corner radius and layered shadows, which conflict with this exhibition's conservation law. Both upstream works are MIT. The permission text is the LICENSE file at each commit above. That licence covers those works. It does not relicense Palette, and Palette's MIT licence does not relicense them. No endorsement is implied. Runtime focus, projection text and radar roles use the contrasting surface tokens; they do not retain a fixed brown/orange text colour from the old paper theme. The 3D legacy mood pass now reads this same chord, rather than repainting surfaces with an unrelated green/brown mood table after the palette was applied.
